Hear from one of our Clinical Directors

With extensive experience in speech-language pathology and autism, see how listening to autistic voices has deepened her understanding of autism.

“I have learned from listening to autistic voices that autism is a way of seeing the world. It is a coalescence of different ways of navigating the world that can make life more challenging, however, the onus of growth and development cannot solely be put upon the autistic individual – their family, educators and community must also work to grow, develop and change. Mostly importantly, I have learned through my work that autism is joyful, authentic and can absolutely make life more beautiful.”
